Welcome To Our Newest Class…

Step 2 - Dive Deep From The Foundation By S.Green

Reflect.

Have you ever come back to class and attended as an Alumni? It’s great! I see a big difference in the quality of Alumni’s work when they come back to class. However, you are kind of just a fly on the wall listening to me re-teach what you all ready have learned. It’s very helpful in the sense that you get to digest some of the small details you might have missed the first time around if you were overwhelmed. You pick up some tips and tricks you may have missed, and get some practice in. However, as I mentioned before, you really are just a fly on the wall- listening to a class you have already taken- to catch anything you may have missed the first time. My first priority at a regular class is to the new stylists taking that class and ensuring they are learning everything they need to! I do help and critique you as you practice, but inevitably you are spending a lot of time watching me teach things you already know. Now, I want you to think about how much you learned in your first class with me. Can you imagine how much more you could learn in four more days with me where YOU, the Alumni, are my sole focus?!?!

Sharpen.

Diving deeper into this craft! Four full days fine tuning what you have learned so far and perfecting your technique were my sole focus? You don’t have to spend 1-2 of those four days watching everyone learn how to braid. Because everyone in this class is on the same level! Instead, we spend that time perfecting YOUR braiding technique. Cleaning things up and shaving off time. We work on perfecting your stitching. Learning the perfect amount of tension and consistency. Keeping things seamless and clean, and we have lots of time to practice it together at a different level! I get to spend my days focused on just you, where you are at, and getting you out of bad habits you might have picked up along the way. We get to REALLY FOCUS on the fine details and the little tips and tricks that make it easier! And practice them together, a lot!

Perfect.

Think of it like one extra day in class working on each section of this. Can you imagine having one more day of practicing braiding in your first class? One more day devoted to stitching? One more day working on cutting and blending? Color theory? Etc… except this time around you know what questions to ask because you know what you struggle with. On top of that, you get practice on live people- not just mannequins. You get to watch more live demos. Ask more in depth questions. Because there are not brand new people there taking all of my attention, just trying to learn this for the first time. Instead, YOU get all of my time and attention! Continuing where you left off from or continuing from where you are right now. Four very purposeful, critical, fun, detailed days perfecting your craft! Making life in the salon easier when you get home!
